flautist and photographer

I got this flautist guy with the minolta after I gave him some change.

then i noticed this other guy and waved to him. i noticed his gear. namely the L series glass... then i moved away. he had his shot.

i spoke to him afterward and showed him why all his images were dark on the screen of his 20d...

apeture priority was reading 1/4000th at 2.8 iso 800 from what i shot at... whatever i shot at. look at the exif.

do the math if you can. or just believe that it was underexposed

i showed him how to do it manually, how to look at his lightmeter and judge exposure. and that 1/500th was ample to avoid blur. he said "you have great technical skill". i said not really, but thankyou. and i smiled.

i hope he goes and learns more about photography.
